The Wicked Lights Rekon Shooting Tripod system utilises the military designed Pig Saddle rifle mount, providing an advanced shooting specific rifle rest platform tripod system which is not only extemely solid and stable, but amazingly lightweight and portable, deployable in seconds and fully adaptable to every situation, terrain or rifle system...and unlike adapted photo tripods, the Rekon is DESIGNED for shooting with reinforcements and design features such as proprietary designed reinforcements to critical leg attachment stress areas and leg latch mechanisms.

WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH THE REKON TRIPOD

The Rekon Tripod comes packaged in a smart carry case, which when folded down, allows you to carry your tripod and accessories with a shoulder sling in a compact form.

FULL ADJUSTMENT - PERFECT FOR OVERWATCH SCENARIOS

The Rekon Tripod system includes the BH-1 ball head system which attaches to the tripod short or long posts by means of a threaded bolt (make sure you lock off the pan bolt and tighten fully when first using)

BALL HEAD ADJUSTMENT

This ball head has adjustment for the head to swivel through 360 degrees, (small knob) as well as to adjust to Pan, Tilt and Cant, allowing full movement control, side ways, rotational and forwards and back for shooting at different heights. (large knob).

CENTRAL SPINDLE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

As well as being adjustable on the ball head, the tripod central spindle can also be lowered or raised as you wish for different terrains, and works great shooting prone off a bench, or on rough terrain.

LEG ADJUSTMENT

The leg height can be adjusted from 138cm to 46cm allowing you to tailor the stand height of the tripod for any scenario.

Providing the capability of shooting sticks AND a bipod in one....the Rekon tripod system has heavy duty latch locks which provide 3 leg angle adjustments to enable to shooter to shoot in a free standing position, sitting or kneeling, or in a low Prone lying position for maximum accuracy at distance.

This is achieved in seconds, by pressing the leg latch and adjusting each leg to the three notched position options for Standing, Seated or Prone.

The Wicked Rekon Tripod System with Pig Saddle, includes the ShadowTech USA made Pig Saddle rifle system, which is effectively a precision clamp which allows you to mount ANY sporting or tactical rifle to the Wicked Rekon tripod...and attach and detach in seconds. 

Users can buy the £399.99 Wicked Rekon Tripod system with Pig Saddle complete, or they can Build Your Own by choosing the basic Wicked Rekon CT1 tripod with Arca Swiss plate (Arca Swiss is a direct fit to a weaver or picatinny rail without need for a saddle) and then spec up their tripod with either a Pig Saddle £139, Hog Saddle £295

Shadowtech make two different saddles...the Hog Saddle...and the Pig Saddle...lets take a look at the differences.

The HOG Saddle is CNC machined aluminum making it 30% lighter weight than the PIG Saddle. The PIG Saddle is slightly heavier due to its steel construction. Stability wise, the MOD7 HOG Saddle will feel slightly more stable when shooting past 600 yards.

Hog Saddle is also much prettier in terms of visual appeal...will one make you shooter better than the other...probably not...but the Hog is considerably nicer design and build and suits the Rekon lovely.

The Triclawps Saddle is made from a glass reinforced resin and features a lifetime guarantee...providing the same stability as the Pig Saddle...with a considerably lighter weight.
