SHIPPING

What Shipping Methods Are Available?

We use DPD Couriers for shipping most packages and when we ship with DPD we use the PREDICT system which will notify you by text or email of a one hour delivery window.

We will also email to advise you when your parcel has been shipped and provide you with a tracking number and a way of tracking your parcel.

In some instances where we have your goods shipped direct from the manufacturer we may not be able to provide you with a tracking number at the time of shipping, but can supply this upon request after shipping.

Depending on your order value when your order is ready to be shipped we use one of the following delivery methods.

All packages sent with DPD to mainland UK are normally delivered within 24 hours, however Highlands and Island deliveries may incur an extra delivery stage which can delay deliveries in some instances.

You will be notified by DPD Predict, of a one hour delivery window, as long as you provide us with either an email address or mobile number.

Should you require an Express timed delivery we are able to provide a premium service at extra cost which can be delivered to a specific time slot. If you require an urgent service please order by telephone.

Do You Ship Internationally?

We ship to UK, Mainland Europe and the USA as well as some other countries, however many of our products are designated UK ONLY which indicates that this item is likely restricted for export, which means we can only sell to UK end users, and therefore we are unable to send overseas, even to Republic of Ireland.

Please note that the export or re-export of any riflescopes or night vision systems, be it image intensified, thermal or other, above a given specification is strictly controlled by ITAR regulations.All of these systems are subject to UK Governmental Export Licensing Regulations and dependent on specification, a licence may need to be obtained prior to the export, even temporarily (e.g if you are travelling overseas with your device on holiday), from the UK. It is the responsibility of the exporter, whether it be a company or an individual to ensure that such a licence is obtained.

Failure to comply is a criminal offence.

What Payment Methods Are Accepted?

We accept the following credit cards and payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, Paypal, JCB and Amex.

We can also provide finance, if eligible, via Deko. 

Finance is a great way to spread the cost of your purchase. To make it easy we’ve teamed up with Deko whose smart technology lets you apply for and complete the loan application quickly and entirely online.

Simply add the items you love to your basket. Once at checkout select the finance option that suits you and then choose Deko.

The quick application form should take no more than a couple of minutes to complete and you’ll receive an instant decision. Easy!


Is Buying On-Line Safe and using 3D Secure?

Ordering at Scott Country International is both safe and secure and we take online protection of customer data very seriously. Scott Country International are fully PCI compliant, and we use Opayo/Sage Pay, the UK's leading card processing company to process all card data, Paypal and Deko Pay finance.

Order & Returns

How do I place an online Order?

Make a purchase is really easy.

First, you have to create your account or alternatively check out as a Guest. When creating an account we only store your name, address and contact information, we never store any payment methods.

Click on the item(s) you would like to buy and "Add to basket"  Then you can "View Your Basket" and proceed to "Checkout"

Then choose your delivery method, a delivery and billing address, and then proceed to checkout.

You will be asked for your Billing and Shipping Address, contact information and you can choose your shipping method.

Once complete you can choose your checkout method such as Credit Card, Paypal or Finance and complete your order.

 

How Can I Cancel Or Change My Order?
Our terms and conditions allow you to return any item you purchase, within 14 days from date of receipt, providing it is in original packaging and in an unused condition.
You can simply download our Returns Form which is included with your order confirmation, or contact a member of our team and we can assist with a return.
The Right of Consumer Cancellation

When you receive goods ordered from www.scottcountry.co.uk , and you change your mind about anything you order, you may cancel the order up to 14 calendar days from receipt of goods.

We will refund the price paid as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days from notification that you wish to cancel the order.

This notification must be in writing, and will not be accepted in the form of a telephone call only. We will refund the cost of the goods to you, plus the cost of carriage. Please note, we will only refund the basic carriage charge incurred in sending the goods to you.

Should you wish to cancel your order or change your order, our sales team will be more than happy to assist.

How Do I Track My Order?

DPD is the most innovative parcel carrier around. Thanks to our industry-leading Predict service, we provide parcel recipients with a one hour delivery window, notified by SMS and email, so they don't have to wait in all day.

How Can I Return a Product?

We recommend using an insured courier such as Parcel2Go for returning items to us for exchange.

You can also use Royal Mail but please be aware they will not accept many forms of batteries on their own to be shipped.

If you have an item within warranty which is faulty please contact our Service Dept and they will endeavour to arrange a collection from DPD, please note this will be a chargeable fee if the item is found not to have a warranty fault.

The rights of cancellation come from Consumer Protection (distance selling) Regulations 2000.

Do I need an account to place an order?

At Scott Country International you are welcome to check out as a guest. This will still provide full order confirmation, invoicing and despatch/tracking notification, providing all the information you may need.

Alternatively you can create an account which will enable you to search order history, quickly check out using your saved address details etc
