Pulsar Recon 550R Digital Night Vision with built in recording

The Pulsar Recon 550R Digital Night Vision is equipped with a built in Video Recorder and can be used as a day time video device as well as a night time night vision device.

This appliance which allows video recording and photography immediately during observation and the function is activated by pressing the REC button, much like on a conventional camcorder.

Compact and lightweight the 550 R features a viewing range of 5-250 meters and with the built in recorder you can rewatch the footage captured back at home.

This is ideal for wildlife monitoring that you wish to review later, or also ideal for security applications where the footage is crucial it can be reviewed at a late date such as in court or by the police.

Use your Recon 550R as a long range Trail Camera

The Recon 550R features an innovative Motion Detection system which allows you to set your device to capture any movement the lens detects and record footage.

This allows you to use the device as a long range trail camera, capturing footage of anything or anyone that happens to come into the detection zone of the lens.

The device features:

• LCD Emission control: The user can choose the preferred LCD displays colour and the Contrast increase function is also activated using the same control. (Standard Black and White as normal function but can be changed to Green and Black, Red and Black and High Contrast Mode)
  
• Brightness Adjustment Wheel: This adjusts optimum brightness of the LCD screen for each situation
• Built in IR Stealth Illuminator: Invisible to humans and animals, this high power illuminator is used when there is insufficient levels of natural illumination for improvement of observation quality.
• Video Input/Output: Recon is equipped with a socket for connection of external viewing monitors to watch live footage through the device.
• Recording Function: Recon R has the facility to record viewing as well as take still images.
• Motion Detection: Set your Recon R up to record anything that happens to trigger the device.
