The RIX Glint G3 Thermal Riflescope combines a highly sensitive 384×288 thermal sensor, fast 35mm F0.9 objective lens, integrated 1500m laser rangefinder and onboard ballistic calculator in a lightweight thermal scope designed for serious fox control, vermin shooting and professional pest management.
Featuring a 12μm VOx thermal sensor with <20mK NETD sensitivity and an exceptionally smooth 60Hz refresh rate, the RIX Glint G3 delivers detailed, responsive thermal imagery in complete darkness and challenging weather conditions. Its 35mm F0.9 lens provides a thermal detection range of up to 1800 metres, giving users plenty of capability for scanning open ground, farmland and larger fields.
With 3.5× base magnification, a Full HD AMOLED display and integrated LRF and ballistic functionality, the RIX Glint G3 thermal scope offers an impressive combination of image performance and shooting features in a compact 645g package.
384×288 12μm Thermal Sensor
At the heart of the RIX Glint G3 is a 384×288 resolution VOx thermal detector with a small 12μm pixel pitch.
The increased sensor resolution provides significantly more thermal information than lower-resolution 256×192 devices, helping to produce greater detail when observing and identifying heat sources.
For foxing, rabbit control and other night-time pest management applications, this additional thermal detail can be particularly useful when identifying targets and assessing their surroundings before taking a shot.

<20mK NETD Thermal Sensitivity
The Glint G3 features an impressive <20mK NETD thermal sensitivity, allowing the sensor to distinguish very small differences in temperature.
Greater thermal sensitivity becomes particularly important when environmental conditions reduce natural thermal contrast, including damp, misty or humid nights and situations where the background and target are relatively close in temperature.
Combined with RIX image processing, the sensitive detector helps reveal greater definition within the target and surrounding landscape.
Fast 35mm F0.9 Germanium Lens
One of the standout specifications of the RIX Glint G3 thermal riflescope is its fast 35mm F0.9 objective lens.
The larger aperture allows more thermal energy to reach the detector compared with a conventional F1.0 lens, complementing the sensitive <20mK thermal sensor and helping the Glint G3 produce a detailed thermal image.
The 35mm focal length also provides a useful balance between field of view, magnification and longer-range performance.
Smooth 60Hz Thermal Imaging
The Glint G3 operates at an impressive 60Hz frame rate, producing exceptionally smooth thermal imagery.
A faster refresh rate is particularly useful when tracking moving animals or quickly scanning across ground, reducing perceived image lag and helping maintain a fluid view through the riflescope.
This makes the Glint G3 particularly well suited to dynamic pest-control situations where targets may be moving quickly across the field of view.
Up to 1800m Thermal Detection Range
Combining its 384×288 detector and 35mm F0.9 objective lens gives the RIX Glint G3 a stated thermal detection range of up to 1800 metres.
This extended detection capability makes the Glint G3 well suited to scanning large fields, farmland, hill ground and other open environments where animals may initially be located at considerable distance.
Its 3.5× base magnification provides a useful starting magnification for target identification and shooting, with 1–4× digital zoom available when additional magnification is required.

Integrated 1500m Laser Rangefinder
Accurately judging distance through a thermal image can be difficult, particularly at night.
The RIX Glint G3 LRF thermal scope solves this problem with an integrated laser rangefinder capable of measuring distances out to an impressive 1500 metres, with stated ranging accuracy of ±1 metre.
Range information is available directly through the scope, removing the need to switch between the riflescope and a separate handheld laser rangefinder.
Built-In Ballistic Calculator
The Glint G3 also features an integrated ballistic calculation function, adding another useful tool for shooters operating across varying distances.
Combining accurate laser rangefinding with ballistic information allows the riflescope to assist the shooter when accounting for bullet trajectory at different ranges.
The combination of thermal imaging, 1500m LRF and ballistic calculation makes the RIX Glint G3 a highly capable thermal riflescope for professional pest controllers and experienced shooters.
Full HD 1920×1080 AMOLED Display
The thermal image and shooting information are presented through a high-resolution 1920×1080 AMOLED display.
The Full HD display provides a detailed viewing interface for the thermal image, rangefinding information, ballistic functions and menu system.
The Glint G3 also offers a generous 48mm eye relief and dioptre adjustment from -5D to +5D.
Wide Field of View
Despite its 3.5× base magnification and 35mm objective lens, the Glint G3 maintains a useful 7.5° × 5.1° field of view, equivalent to approximately 13.2 × 8.8 metres at 100 metres.
This balance of magnification and field of view makes it capable of both scanning and target engagement without creating an excessively restricted image at closer ranges.
Lightweight 645g Construction
Despite its thermal, LRF and ballistic capabilities, the RIX Glint G3 weighs just 645g.
Its relatively lightweight construction helps minimise additional weight on the rifle and makes the complete setup easier to carry during long nights in the field.
Measuring 306 × 107 × 90mm, the Glint G3 is supplied with a Picatinny ring mounting set.
Flexible 21700 & 18650 Battery System
The Glint G3 uses replaceable 21700 rechargeable batteries and can also accept 18650 batteries using the supplied adapter sleeve.
Battery operating time is rated at up to approximately 5.5 hours at 25°C, while compatibility with replaceable batteries means additional power can easily be carried during extended shooting sessions.
A USB Type-C external power connection provides another option for powering the thermal scope.

Record Photos & Thermal Video
With a generous 64GB of built-in memory, the RIX Glint G3 can capture photographs and thermal video directly through the riflescope.
Video and photographs are recorded at 1200×804 resolution, providing plenty of storage capacity for recording pest-control activity, memorable shots and thermal observations.
Rugged IP67 Protection
The RIX Glint G3 thermal riflescope carries an IP67 protection rating, helping protect the device against the wet, muddy and demanding conditions encountered during real-world field use.
An operating temperature range of -20°C to +50°C also makes the Glint G3 suitable for year-round use.
