About Us

Scott Country International Ltd began as a family run partnership, first opening its doors in early 2001. In its formative years, the business offered a wide range of clothing and field sports accessories across three floors of a traditional high street shop in Castle Douglas.

The transition to eCommerce was a natural progression, and in 2009 the business moved fully online. Over time, the product portfolio has evolved to specialise in night vision, thermal optics, and associated equipment.

Today, with a depth of expertise and an extensive product range, Scott Country International is recognised as one of the UK’s leading specialist retailers in this field. The company now operates from a bespoke office and showroom facility in Heathhall, Dumfries.

Our customer showroom - currently a work in progress - has been designed to enhance the customer experience through hands-on product demonstrations, further reflecting our commitment to exceptional customer care. While the majority of our sales are conducted online, we understand that investing in thermal imaging equipment is a significant decision. For this reason, we actively encourage customers to visit us, explore our range, and trial our demonstration units.

Visitors are welcome at our offices Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, at Dumfries Enterprise Park, Tinwald Downs Road, Heathhall, Dumfries, DG1 3SJ.

We offer an extensive selection of commercially available night vision and thermal imaging equipment, suitable for professional hunting, pest control, wildlife surveillance, and research. Scott Country International is also an official supplier to the Ministry of Defence, as well as to law enforcement and emergency services. In addition, we provide on-site training and product support, all delivered in accordance with full ISO quality assurance standards. We are proud to offer Blue Light discounts to eligible emergency service personnel.
