Further Information
The NocPix ACE 2 H35R Thermal Scope brings the advanced technology of the new ACE 2 platform into a compact 35mm thermal riflescope specifically suited to woodland stalking, professional vermin control and situations where a wider field of view is more important than maximum long-range performance.
Combining a Gen 3 640×512 thermal sensor, exceptional NETD sensitivity as low as 12mK, a fast 35mm F1.0 objective lens and NocPix's latest R+ 2.0 image-processing technology, the ACE 2 H35R is designed to deliver outstanding thermal definition in demanding conditions. Its shorter 35mm focal length provides a wider, more versatile view of the surrounding environment, making it particularly effective when targets can appear quickly or at relatively close range.
The H35R also retains the premium technology that makes the new ACE 2 platform so impressive, including Dual Mode Clarity, Ocular Zoom 2.0, Central Focus System, Intelligent Tracking, integrated 1200m LRF 2.0 and advanced ballistic calculation, all incorporated within a lightweight magnesium-alloy platform.
Gen 3 640×512 Thermal Sensor with ≤12mK Sensitivity
At the heart of the NocPix ACE 2 H35R is NocPix's latest-generation 640×512 thermal detector, combining high resolution with exceptional thermal sensitivity.
With NETD as low as 12mK, the ACE 2 platform is capable of detecting extremely subtle differences in temperature. This allows greater detail to be reproduced across animals, vegetation and the surrounding landscape, particularly when natural thermal contrast is reduced.
This becomes particularly useful in the environments for which the H35R is designed. Woodland, forestry, damp vegetation, mist, humidity and changing temperatures can all create challenging thermal conditions. High thermal sensitivity helps retain definition when the temperature difference between the target and its surroundings becomes increasingly subtle.
35mm F1.0 Lens – Built for a Wider Field of View
The defining characteristic of the ACE 2 H35R is its 35mm F1.0 germanium objective lens.
Compared with the 50mm lens of the ACE 2 H50R, the shorter 35mm focal length produces a wider field of view and lower native magnification. This allows the shooter to see considerably more of the surrounding environment through the scope at any one time.
For close and medium-range applications, that can be a major advantage.
When stalking through woodland, scanning field margins or controlling rats and other vermin around farm buildings, the ability to quickly locate a target and maintain awareness of what is happening around it can be more valuable than maximum long-range magnification.
The fast F1.0 aperture also maximises the amount of thermal energy reaching the detector, helping the 640×512 sensor produce a detailed thermal image even in challenging conditions.
Designed for Woodland Stalking
Dense woodland presents a very different challenge from shooting across large open fields.
Targets can appear suddenly between trees, vegetation can restrict visibility and engagement distances are typically much shorter. Excessive magnification can actually become a disadvantage because it reduces the amount of surrounding terrain visible through the optic.
The ACE 2 H35R's 35mm lens and wider field of view make it particularly well suited to woodland stalking. The shooter can scan a greater area, acquire animals quickly and retain better awareness of nearby woodland, rides and vegetation.
Combined with the ACE 2's exceptional thermal sensitivity, it creates a particularly capable thermal riflescope for deer management and woodland stalking.
Ideal for Farm & Vermin Control
The same characteristics make the NocPix ACE 2 H35R an excellent thermal scope for professional vermin control.
Around farms, barns, livestock buildings, grain stores and agricultural yards, shooting distances can be relatively short and targets such as rats and rabbits can move quickly.
A wider field of view makes it easier to locate, follow and reacquire fast-moving vermin, while the highly sensitive 640 detector provides the thermal definition required to pick out small heat signatures against complex backgrounds.
For pest controllers who don't require the additional reach of a 50mm thermal scope, the H35R provides a highly versatile alternative.
R+ 2.0 Advanced Image Processing
The thermal information captured by the Gen 3 detector is enhanced by NocPix's latest R+ 2.0 image-processing algorithm.

R+ 2.0 is designed to improve target definition, environmental detail and overall image realism, allowing more of the information captured by the thermal detector to be reproduced within the final image.
Instead of simply producing a bright animal against a dark background, the system aims to reveal subtle differences across the target and surrounding terrain, helping the shooter understand the complete thermal scene.
Dual Mode Clarity – Motion & Still
The ACE 2 H35R features NocPix Dual Mode Clarity technology, allowing image processing to be adapted to the situation.
Motion Mode prioritises smooth image reproduction when following moving animals, reducing ghosting and lag and making it particularly useful for fast-moving vermin and close-range targets.

Still Mode prioritises fine image detail, enhancing subtle features across stationary animals, vegetation and the surrounding landscape.
For the H35R's intended applications, the ability to switch rapidly between smooth target tracking and maximum detail is particularly useful.
Central Focus System
The ACE 2 Central Focus System places the focus control conveniently within easy reach of the shooter rather than relying on conventional adjustment at the objective lens.
This allows focus to be refined quickly as target distance changes while helping the shooter maintain their normal aiming position and keep the animal within view.
For woodland and farmyard environments, where target distances can change rapidly, the ability to make intuitive focus adjustments without significantly changing position is a practical advantage.
Ocular Zoom 2.0
When additional magnification is required, Ocular Zoom 2.0 allows the shooter to make greater use of the detail available from the ACE 2's 640×512 detector.
This gives the H35R considerable versatility. Its 35mm lens provides the wider field of view needed for closer-range scanning, while the advanced zoom system provides additional magnification when a target needs to be examined more closely.
Integrated 1200m LRF 2.0
Despite being optimised for closer-range applications, the ACE 2 H35R retains the integrated LRF 2.0 laser rangefinder of the new ACE 2 platform, providing ranging capability out to 1200 metres.

Accurate ranging can be especially useful in woodland and at night, where estimating distance through a thermal image can be difficult.
The rangefinder is integrated directly into the scope, allowing distance information to be obtained without moving away from the optic or carrying a separate handheld rangefinder.
Advanced Ballistic Calculation
The ACE 2 combines laser ranging with an advanced ballistic calculation system, incorporating factors including inclination and wind drift.
Range and ballistic information can therefore be brought together within the thermal optic, giving the shooter additional information to support accurate and responsible shot placement.
Intelligent Target Tracking
The new ACE 2 platform also incorporates Intelligent Tracking, using laser ranging, an electronic compass and intelligent algorithms to provide positional information associated with a ranged target.

For deer managers and professional pest controllers working in woodland, farmland and other complex environments, this adds another layer of situational information beyond conventional thermal detection.
Lightweight Magnesium Alloy Construction
The ACE 2 platform uses a full magnesium-alloy chassis and has been engineered to remain under 1000g, combining advanced thermal technology with a lightweight, conventional riflescope-style design.
This is particularly relevant to the H35R. A thermal scope intended for mobile woodland stalking and professional pest control needs to remain comfortable when the rifle is being carried for prolonged periods.
Despite its low weight, the ACE 2 platform is engineered for impact and recoil resistance up to 7000J, providing the rugged construction expected from a professional rifle-mounted thermal optic.
Up to 8 Hours Operating Endurance
With up to 8 hours of operating endurance, the ACE 2 platform is designed to support prolonged sessions in the field.
Whether stalking through woodland or undertaking an extended night of professional pest control around agricultural land, the combination of long operating time and lightweight construction makes the H35R particularly well suited to mobile use.

H35R Performance Highlights
The standout combination here is the 35mm F0.9 lens with 2× base magnification and a 12.6° × 10.1° field of view. That gives the ACE 2 H35R the wider, less magnified view we want to emphasise for woodland deer stalking, forestry and vermin control around farms, where rapid target acquisition and awareness of the surrounding area are particularly important.
Despite that wider-view configuration, it still provides an impressive 1800m thermal detection range, while the integrated 1200m LRF gives substantially more ranging capability than would normally be required for its intended applications.
