HikMicro Alpex LRF 4K Comparison Guide
ALPEX 4K (2024) Comparison Guide
The latest models, A50EL and A50E, take night vision up a notch with:
- an advanced CMOS detector
- adjustable aperture
- and an integrated ballistic calculator.
All this is wrapped up in a traditional-style 30mm tube. Here, we compare the latest HikMicro Alpex Scopes against the rest of the range.
HikMicro Alpex LRF 4K A50EL: A Single Scope for All Light Levels
For digital night vision riflescopes, full-colour day vision has become a staple. The A50EL LRF and A50E have an advanced sensor that keeps the image clear in all ambient light. Press a single button to switch between day and night vision.
Building on the success of the previous models (A50T and A50TS), the 4K release continues the automatic level adjustment between day/night mode, re-coil activated audio and video recording, and a built-in 64GB memory card. The large, 50mm lens lets in much light and is still seen on the A50EL.
What's new? The A50EL levels up the range with:
- 4K Definition Sensor
- Improved control wheel design
- Multiple reticle profiles
- Physical Aperture control to match ambient light
- Larger OLED display
- Replaceable backup battery for extended run-time

Integrated 1000m LRF
This laser rangefinder uses a built-in ballistic calculator to determine the trajectory of a shot, showing where you will likely hit over a given range. Accurate shooting has never been so easy.
Physical Aperture Control F1.2-F2.5
“The adjustable aperture ranging from F1.2 – F2.5 can be utilised to eliminate overexposure or enhance the depth of field,” say HikMicro.
Just like the iris of your eye, you can widen the lens aperture to allow more light entry or tighten it to reduce the brightness.
This makes identification much simpler because details and markings aren't washed out.
High 3.5x-28x Magnification
The A50EL also offers an incredible 3.5x to 28x magnification range, almost double the previous available mag, making smaller targets more achievable. All this mag power with a wider 8.8o field of view leads to serious accuracy without losing context.
Robust 30mm Scope Body
Built on an all-new robust 30mm tube chassis for conventional ring-mounting, the A50EL and A50E are also slightly smaller than the A50T models, though a few grams heavier.

A50EL Product Features:

Note: The A50EL is the same spec as the A50E with an integrated 1000m Laser Rangefinder and ballistic calculator. This adds just under 100g weight. The A50T is the same spec as the A50T-S, with an integrated 800nm IR illuminator.
The new Alpex 4K takes a winning formula and boosts specification and performance across the board, creating a new benchmark for 2024. The comparison between these day/night scopes is reflected in their respective prices, so there is plenty to weigh up when deciding on the right scope for you.
