The RIX Optics LEAP L3R is a compact, high-performance thermal riflescope designed for deer stalking, fox control, vermin management and professional wildlife management. Combining a highly sensitive 384 × 288, 12μm thermal sensor, innovative continuous optical zoom, a premium 35mm F0.9 germanium objective lens and an integrated 1200m laser rangefinder, the LEAP L3R delivers exceptional thermal performance in a lightweight and rugged package.

Offering up to 1800m detection range, ultra-sensitive sub-20mK NETD performance and advanced image enhancement technology, the LEAP L3R provides crisp target detection and confident shot placement in complete darkness and challenging weather conditions.

High Sensitivity 384 Thermal Sensor

The LEAP L3R is equipped with an advanced 384 × 288 VOx uncooled thermal sensor featuring a 12μm pixel pitch and NETD below 20mK, allowing it to detect even the smallest temperature differences for clear, detailed thermal imagery.

Its 50Hz refresh rate ensures smooth image performance when tracking moving quarry, while excellent thermal sensitivity provides dependable detection through mist, rain, fog and other challenging environmental conditions.

Continuous Optical Zoom with Premium F0.9 Lens

Unlike conventional digital zoom systems, the LEAP L3R features a 3.2x-9.6x continuous optical zoom, allowing seamless magnification adjustments whilst maintaining image quality throughout the zoom range.

The premium 35mm F0.9 germanium objective lens gathers approximately 20% more infrared energy than an F1.0 lens, producing brighter images, improved contrast and greater detail during low-temperature and poor-weather conditions.

Integrated 1200m Laser Rangefinder

The built-in 1200 metre laser rangefinder is integrated directly into the objective lens assembly, providing rapid and accurate distance measurements with ±1 metre accuracy.

Its perfectly aligned optical and laser axes deliver precise ranging whilst maintaining a streamlined profile and outstanding recoil resistance for demanding field use.

High-Definition AMOLED Display

The LEAP L3R features a crisp 1920 × 1080 AMOLED display, delivering vibrant contrast, deep blacks and outstanding thermal image definition.

Combined with RET (Resolution Enhancement Technology), the riflescope maintains impressive image clarity even when using digital zoom, reducing pixelation and preserving fine target detail at longer distances.

Built for the Field

Designed to withstand demanding shooting environments, the LEAP L3R features an IP67 waterproof construction, onboard video and photo recording, 32GB internal memory, USB-C connectivity and Wi-Fi compatibility for convenient file transfer.

Powered by a replaceable 18650 rechargeable battery, the riflescope offers dependable runtime whilst remaining compatible with standard 30mm riflescope rings, making installation quick and straightforward.
