NocPix ACE 2 H50R - Further Information

Flagship Thermal Image Quality – Gen 3, ≤12mK & R+ 2.0

Designed to deliver a level of clarity approaching that associated with premium daytime optics, the NocPix ACE 2 series combines NocPix's proprietary 1280×1024 and 640×512 thermal detectors with exceptional thermal sensitivity of ≤12mK NETD across the range.

For the NocPix ACE 2 H50R, this means a new-generation 640×512 Gen 3 thermal sensor paired with a fast 50mm F1.0 ultra-large aperture germanium objective lens. The highly sensitive detector can resolve extremely subtle temperature differences, capturing considerably more thermal information from both the target and its surroundings.

With 3-24x digital magnification and 1-3x optical zoom, the Ace H50R thermal scope provides a staggering detection range of up to 2600m.

NocPix's upgraded R+ 2.0 image-processing algorithm then works with this data to produce a cleaner, more detailed and more natural thermal image.

Fine variations in an animal's heat signature, vegetation and surrounding terrain become easier to distinguish, providing the level of detail required for confident identification during foxing, deer management and professional pest control.

This exceptional sensitivity becomes particularly valuable in rain, mist, humidity and other low thermal-contrast conditions, where less sensitive thermal sensors can struggle to separate an animal clearly from its environment.

Dual Mode Clarity – Motion or Maximum Detail

The ACE 2 H50R introduces Dual Mode Clarity technology, allowing the thermal image to be instantly optimised according to whether the subject is moving or stationary.

Motion Mode prioritises fluid, responsive imaging when following fast-moving animals, helping minimise ghosting, image smear and lag as the target moves across the field of view. This makes it particularly useful when tracking foxes and other rapidly moving quarry.

Switch to Still Mode and the ACE 2 concentrates on extracting maximum fine detail from the thermal scene. Vegetation, foliage, terrain and physical characteristics of the animal become more clearly defined, providing additional visual information for accurate target and species identification.

Rather than applying one processing profile to every situation, Dual Mode Clarity allows the ACE 2 H50R to adapt its image to the way you are actually using the scope.

Integrated 1200m LRF 2.0

The NocPix ACE 2 H50R features an integrated LRF 2.0 laser rangefinder capable of measuring distances out to 1200 metres, providing accurate ranging without compromising the ACE's traditional riflescope-style design.

Accurate range information can be obtained directly through the optic, removing much of the uncertainty associated with estimating distance across fields and open ground at night.

For fox control, deer management and professional vermin control, where judging distance through thermal imaging can be particularly difficult, having a 1200m laser rangefinder integrated directly into the thermal scope provides a considerable practical advantage.

Advanced Ballistic Calculation

Accurate ranging is complemented by the ACE 2's advanced ballistic calculation system.

The upgraded system can account for important variables including inclination and wind drift, helping the shooter calculate the required ballistic correction after obtaining the target range.

This brings ranging, environmental information and ballistic calculation together within a single thermal LRF riflescope, providing the information required to make better-informed shot-placement decisions at varying distances.

Intelligent Target Tracking

The ACE 2 platform goes beyond conventional thermal observation with its new Intelligent Tracking capability.

By combining laser ranging, an integrated electronic compass and intelligent algorithms, the system can establish positional information for a ranged target. This can help the user retain or relocate the position after the initial observation, reducing the time required to search an area.

It adds another layer of situational awareness to the ACE 2 platform, particularly when operating across large fields, farmland, forestry and extensive areas of open ground.

Magnesium Alloy Chassis – Under 1kg

Despite the considerable technology packed inside the ACE 2 H50R, NocPix has worked to make the new generation lighter and easier to handle.

The scope is constructed around a strong yet lightweight magnesium-alloy chassis, keeping total weight to under 1000g.

Reducing the weight mounted above the rifle improves overall balance and handling, particularly during extended periods in the field. For professional users who may spend an entire night operating with a thermal-equipped rifle, those weight savings can make a meaningful difference.

Built to Withstand up to 7000J

Lightweight doesn't mean fragile.

The rugged ACE 2 platform is engineered with impact resistance up to 7000 joules, allowing the scope to withstand the substantial forces generated during recoil.

The combination of magnesium-alloy construction, sub-1kg weight and 7000J resistance gives the ACE 2 H50R the durability expected from a premium thermal riflescope without adding unnecessary bulk to the rifle.

Up to 8 Hours Operating Time

The NocPix ACE 2 H50R provides up to 8 hours of operating endurance, giving hunters and professional pest controllers the runtime required for extended sessions in the field.

Combined with its lightweight construction, this makes the ACE 2 particularly well suited to long nights of foxing, pest control and wildlife management, where dependable battery performance is just as important as image quality.
