The Longshot LR-3 2 Mile UHD Target Camera is a complete wireless target-viewing system developed for extreme long-range shooting. With reliable video transmission at distances of up to two miles, it allows shooters and spotters to monitor impacts in real time without repeatedly travelling downrange.

The LR-3 is available with a choice of one, two, three or four cameras. The additional-camera packages allow multiple targets, shooting lanes or viewing angles to be monitored through a single LR-3 receiver. Shooters can select the single-camera system or create a multi-camera package suited to their range setup and training requirements.

The cameras are positioned close to the targets, providing a direct view that is not dependent on magnification from the firing point. This helps overcome the problems caused by distance and mirage, making individual impacts easier to identify during precision rifle practice, competition, ammunition testing and extreme long-range shooting.

Longshot’s CrispEdge technology produces detailed 2688 × 1512 imagery, which is transmitted from the camera to the supplied wireless receiver. The receiver connects to a compatible smartphone or tablet, displaying the live target view through the free Longshot app.

The system creates its own direct wireless network and requires no mobile phone signal, internet connection, external Wi-Fi or hotspot. Patented Go the Distance link technology provides the connection between the cameras and receiver, making the LR-3 suitable for remote ranges and outdoor shooting locations.

The Longshot app allows shooters to mark and number individual impacts, measure group sizes, make zeroing adjustments, save photographs and record videos. The Blinker Shot Locator highlights recent impacts, helping users follow shot placement and analyse groups as they develop.

All-Axis Camera Adjustment allows each target view to be accurately positioned, while the elevated OverObstacle design helps establish a clear line of sight between the cameras and receiver. With up to nine hours of battery life, compact tripods and a protective hard case, the LR-3 is equipped for extended days at the range.
