Nightmaster 800IR Infrared illuminator kit for Pulsar Digisight
| The Night Master 800-IR is a high-power, focusable, long-range infrared illuminator, which is capable of providing IR illumination to over 800m (depending on device capability) and is ideal for use on hand held night vision, as well as for digital night vision riflescopes such as the Pulsar Digisight N750 and N550.
This Digisight bolt on infrared illuminator kit includes the Night Master 800IR infrared illuminator, battery and charger, riflescope mount, and the new Nightmaster Digisight mount which attaches to the weaver side accessory rail on your digisight. With a precise and easy adjustment in all directions, you can quickly and effectively align the unique IR beam pattern with the Digisight field of view, and lock it in place. The Night Master mount also features an accessory rail on the side of the device to allow attachment of an EPS3 battery pack. This not only provides a reliable and brilliant source of
infrared illumination at night in low star/moon light conditions, but it
effectively increases the viewing range of the Digisight, with the
on-board N750 IR laser being barely distinguishable against the 800IR
Night Master beam. Improved for 2013, this new Mk2 Night Master 800IR has been developed further with the latest specification components, and whether you use a dedicated night vision (NV) scope, a digital or tubed NV scope add-on or night vision binoculars, the NM800-IR will give you all the distance you need for spotting, accurately identifying and for weapon mounted solutions, safely shooting your quarry. The Tac Lite Nightmaster NM800-IR can be used with airgun, rimfire and centerfire rifles and with the adjustable power output and beam, you simply adjust it to suit your hunting needs and situation.
A high output DR-IR LED module has a wavelength of 850nm - is more covert than most common commercially available IR lasers. The 800IR has a wide voltage range, allowing the use of one or two 18650 rechargeable batteries. The two-battery configuration requires an additional extension tube and will give you a boost in output and a longer runtime.

Product review(s)
I have used the NM800IR on my n750, my 42mm S&B scope and my 50mm scope. It is extremely light and very quick to set up and align, it is still very light on the n750 with the battery pack attached. It is adjustable for rimfire ranges out to longer ranges (my personal limit with CF at night is 150 yards due to age - me not the rifle). When coupled with an ENVIS for spotting it is very clear out to 200+ yards. A great piece of kit, fully portable, Stephen Cassidy, 18/02/2013 Just to let you know I mounted up the Pulsar Digisight N750 last night and during a break in the never ending rain went out for a look. The difference using the NightMaster on the 750 compared with anything I tried on the 550 was as different as chalk and cheese! I know with the moon as it is there was a fair bit of ambient light, but it did perform amazingly well spotting rabbits eyes/no eyes out to 300 yards. Mike Powell, 24/01/2013
