Scott Country Christmas Deliveries
We are able to deliver goods from stock, right up until Christmas Eve with UPS couriers.
The last day for ordering goods from stock for a Christmas Eve delivery is the 23rd December.
All order placed on the 23rd December will have an email confirmation including tracking information enabling you to track your order on Xmas Eve.
Scott Country International offices will be closed from 24th December and will re-open on Monday 4th January 2010.
Customers who wish to send back goods for a refund have to declare this in writing either by email, by post or by fax within 7 working days from the day of receipt of the goods (this 7day period of time does not include Xmas day, Boxing day, New years day and weekends.) . Customers who simply wish to exchange goods may do so from 4th January onwards at any time as long as clear written instructions with a name and telephone number accompany the returned goods.

Scott Country uses UPS Logistics for all express shipments, UK and international and are therefore not affected by any future postal strikes.

Trust and Security
Scott Country are a family owned business, and have been trading since 2000. We are based on King Street in Castle Douglas, and although we are no longer a shop (we chose to go mail order only earlier this year) you can still visit us on the high street, should you have any questions, wish to place an order, or to try on an item.
We can always be contacted by telephone (9am till 5pm GMT Mon-Fri) and we also have a Live Chat facility, which you can access by clicking the green Live Chat button at the end of every product page.
Your order is either packed by us at our premises in King Street, and collected by UPS for delivery, or we may have non stock items sent direct from one of our approved suppliers using a courier.
We are DCI Compliant, which essentially means that we are approved as a secure business in the handling of credit card transactions and follow strict industry guidelines at all times.
We use Sage Pay (Formerly known as Protx) to process all internet transactions, and Sage Pay are world reknowned as the market leaders in credit card security. Sage Pay securely process all our internet transactions and payments, ensuring that your payment details are always 100% secure, and no one will ever have access to your card number.
Should you choose to order by telephone, your payment details will only be dealt with by our retail manager, or a director and we follow strict DCI Regulations and protocols in how your information is handled and securely disposed of.
Ordering gifts for Christmas
We aim to deliver your goods within 48hours to UK addresses , and in most cases goods from stock will be sent Next Day with UPS. We can guarantee all in stock items to be delivered well in advance of Xmas, whether you are in the UK, USA or further afield as we use the global market leading couriers UPS.

We can also expedite goods worldwide with UPS, and to major destinations within 3 working days**
Deliveries:
It is may be the case that goods not in stock at Scott Country will be sent direct from the warehouse, this service also uses a courier system and does not rely on the UK postal network.
All packages shipped from stock use UPS Express service where a UPS driver in a brown uniform with a UPS van collects from our warehouse, and a UPS driver in a brown uniform with a UPS van delivers to your home or place of work.
UPS do not rely on third party couriers, all shipping is done within their dedicated network, which is the worlds biggest and most successful.
Returns:
It is no problem returning items for an exchange or alternative after the Xmas period.
When you buy an item from us you may wish to return it (within the Terms and Conditions) whether it be for a size exchange, or a refund if not suitable. Most people return goods to us using Royal Mail as it is easy to take a parcel to your local Post Office. However we recommend an even better service.
www.parcel2go.com is a fantastic service that collects from your door and delivers to any address in Europe. They can collect a package and return it to a UK destination for as little as £3.99.
Should you wish however, we can arrange for UPS to collect goods from you, and although this is more expensive, it can be arranged quickly and efficiently.
Any returns for non faulty items would be chargeable to the consumer, or deducted from any refund if applicable.
