Introducing the new Spypoint Pro X Plus Wildlife Camera

Introducing the Spypoint Pro X Plus Wildlife Trail Camera

The Spypoint Pro X game camera leads the way in wildlife trail cameras thanks to its 12 Mega Pixel sensor and state of the art technical features.

The ideal remote camera for wildlife observation, as a surviellance security camera, or for monitoring game or predator movements.

The Spypoint Pro X Plus wildlife nature camera features a 3" built in viewing screen with removable internal camera for easier handling.

Using Infrared illumination the Pro X Plus game camera takes full motion video footage and still photos in black and white at night, and video and stills during the day in full colour.

A built in 5 zone PIR sensor actively monitors an area in front of the camera (5 to 50ft) and when an animal or human enters the detection zone the camera will trigger and take a picture or video depending on requirements.

Multi shot mode will take up to 6 images per detection with automatic print of date, time, temperature and moon phase on every picture.

New Variable Infra Red function

During the day the camera will take still or video footage in full colour using a high quality 12 mega pixel camera sensor, ensuring the best quality images.

At night the infrared wildlife camera illuminates the area in front of the camera using invisible infra red illumination at night, which does not alert the subject to the presence of the camera making it ideal for covert surviellance, and for wildlife research of badgers, otters and other nocturnal wildlife.

Night time illumination is quite often an issue with infrared cameras as the infrared is either 100% power on, or off. If a subject is too close to the camera the infrared can overexpose the subject resulting in "whiting out" of the image. Pro X Plus actively monitors the ambient light around the camera, and emits the required amount of infrared to perfectly expose the picture.

New Instant Trigger Facility

It's not uncommon with some wildlife cameras that when you check the camera, there is a nice picture of the background, or the tail of a roe buck as it speeds past. This is caused by what is known as the "response time" of the camera.

Spypoint IR-6 and IR-8 wildlife cameras have the fastest response time on the market of sub 1 second, but now with Pro X Plus you can have an instant trigger time (when using a 12V power source), so when the camera detects a subject, it triggers immediately.

Please Note: When in Instant Trigger mode the temperature mode, multishot mode and delay between pictures is disabled

Sound Recording

It's often handy to hear whats going on at night when you are not around, so whether its the grunt of a rutting roe deer, the snuffling of a badger, or the voices of intruders, the Spypoint Pro X Plus sound recording facility will capture any noise within range of the camera.

Extended Run Times

Pro X Plus will now run for extended times on a standard set of AA batteries. You can also upgrade the power supply to a Spypoint Lithium rechargeable battery pack, or even an external 12V power supply. You can even buy a solar panel to recharge the 12V battery or internal lithium power pack.

In a normal scenario you can leave the Pro X Plus unattended for up to 60days, and twinned with up to a 32Gb memory card, you can capture stills or video footage every day.

It's worth remembering during winter, not to use normal alkaline batteries in any device you intend to use in sub zero temperatures. A quality lithium disposable battery or Spypoint lithium rechargeable will ensure your camera operates effectively when the mercury drops!

Software Updates

Spypoint are constantly improving feature of their cameras, and the Pro X Plus is no exception. Regular firmware updates are available from Scott Country to ensure your camera has the latest software and functionality, and any issues can normally be resolved remotely.
