Extreme World Races use Bushnell Trophy Cam HD Wildlife Camera.
Extreme World Races and the Bushnell Trophy Cam HD
Wildlife cameras have many uses, whether you are monitoring a rare species of raptor in a nesting site such as a Peregrin, or Osprey, or filming badgers in your garden at night, these trail cameras can provide a fascinating insight into the nocturnal and day time habits of wildlife in your garden or local wood.
The Bushnell Trophy Cam HD has been used by many TV companies such as BBC Countryfile to capture footage of wildlife whether it be badgers, otters or even water voles.
In last weeks Countryfile, Ellie used a Bushnell Trophy Cam on the banks of a river to capture footage of water mammals.
Using motion detection technology, wildlife cameras are triggered when an animal, or human enters the field of vision of the camera. You can record video with sound, or simply take pictures, in colour during the day or in Black and White at night using Infrared Night Vision to allow the camera to "see in the dark".
Extreme World Races: Adventure Training Camp in Norway
Since 2003, Extreme World Races have been pioneers of ultra-endurance, multi-disciplinary and extreme adventure sports in the most hostile environments on the planet.
If you are looking for a life-changing experience, they provide a portfolio of events to the North Pole, South Pole and deepest Siberia, along with all the training, tools and expertise that you need, to take you right to the edge of human performance.
Scott Country are very proud to be partners with Extreme World Races and we supplied them with a Bushnell Trophy Cam HD 119467 to test in some of the most extreme cold weather you are ever likely to encounter.
As part of the training camp in Norway, Extreme World Races construct an ice hole, where team members are encouraged to jump into, in seriously freezing temperatures, to simulate and prepare for what might happen on a Polar Challenge Race.
You may recall seeing this on TV's Top Gear Polar Challenge, where Extreme World Races took the Top Gear team to their training camp to prepare for what lay ahead. Extreme World Races were also involved in Ben Fogle and James Cracknell's race to the north pole TV series On Thin Ice.
Mike from Extreme World Races set up the Bushnell Trophy Cam HD on Time Lapse, and they filmed the construction of their ice hole over the duration of the construction period.
Find out more about Extreme World Races on their website, or contact Scott Country and we will be pleased to put you in touch, a nicer bunch of people you will never meet!
